How to sell to no one

At least 90% of local businesses make this mistake.
It almost makes sense, but you will soon find out that it does not work at all.
Many large, corporate companies do it too...
It loses sales and wastes your time.
In this article, I am going to show you why selling to everyone leads to you selling to no one at all.
Why do people do this
I see this time and time again when businesses try to sell to too many people.
It’s a common misconception among smaller businesses that selling to as many different people as possible will generate more sales.
In theory, it can make sense, if you sell to a larger group of people, there is a higher chance that someone will buy.
But that couldn't be further from the truth.
Here’s why you shouldn’t
When you try to sell to everyone, you sell to no one.
When you sell, you need to be specific about who you want to target.
If you can’t do this, you won’t even see the number of sales drop…
Because there will be no sales to begin with.
What you need to do, is be very selective about who exactly will benefit from your service.
Do this instead
One of the first things you must do when running a business is deciding on a target audience.
You need to ask yourself this question:
“What group of people are the most likely to buy?”
That’s it.
If you can figure this out, you will be miles ahead of the competition.
So, next time you find yourself selling your stuff, keep this in mind.
Think about who you are talking to.
Are they in your target audience?
Are they the most likely to buy out of any other group of people?
You can’t go out and try to sell bread to bakers.
So it doesn’t make sense to target everyone you can.
Because that baker will eventually fall into that list
