If you run a small business and are focused on building your socials and brand, read this article, I’ve written it just for you.

Building up your social profiles is a horrible lie being sold to you by social media companies and scam artist influencers.

It’s designed to keep you using their platforms while running around in circles.

In this short article, I will show you why and what you should focus your time and money on instead.

It’s much simpler than you would think. So, let’s dive into this.

Followers =/= Sales

It’s very common these days to find small businesses desperate to grow their social pages.

Although it’s never a bad thing to get those numbers up with more followers and all that other good stuff, loads of people make it their No.1 priority when trying to get more sales in.

And you can’t blame them either…

Because every other super successful company has a strong presence on social media and tons of followers.

But in this case… there’s more than meets the eye.

Most of the time, these companies are losing money with their big strong Presence

Think about it

Being super focused on growing your socials only makes sense when these two things apply:

  1. You have thousands and thousands to spend on growing your pages.

  1. You have loads of staff to take care of all the content production.

And even if you do have these in place, it still doesn’t make sense…

Because there is no guarantee that the people who follow your pages will ever buy from you.

100,000 followers and a big blue check doesn’t pay the bills, and it never will.

But we do know what does pay the bills…

Cold hard cash.

What should you focus on

Your No.1 priority should be getting sales.

This isn’t a popularity contest, it’s a business.

So we need to invest in things that we KNOW bring money in.

And not only that, but we should also know exactly how much is being spent, and how much is coming back.

Without those crucial numbers, you may as well head to the casino and spend your marketing budget there.

If you want to know how you can get those numbers, once you’re done reading this, click here to read our article which shows you exactly that.

So, if this article does apply to you, I do hope that after reading you will shift your focus to what really matters if you want more sales.

As you continue working, your pages will grow over time.

Just try not to stress over your follower count or the posts that don’t get as many views as you’d like.

Because really, it doesn’t matter as much as you’d think it would.

Followers, likes and the blue ticks are for influencers who need that stuff to survive.

Talk soon,

Tommy
